You should try running the program from a terminal session, not from double clicking. That way you can see what kind of message you are getting.
how do i run it?

Hi Skullzaflare,

I think you've almost got it licked now. Do the following:

Click on the Applications menu in the upper left of the Vmware "screen". when the menu drops down, click Accessories and when the next menu pops out click on Terminal and the Terminal window will open. Now you've got the "Terminal" program running.

Click inside the terminal window and type following, and it is case sensitive:

cd Desktop

and hit the <enter> key. then type:

cd 1

and hit the <enter> key. You should now be in the folder on your desktop named "1", which is your folding directory.

Type the following:

./fah5

and hit the <enter> key. fah5 should now run in the terminal window (a terminal session) as Knitelife suggested.

When you say lost, you mean it was working, then stopped working without you changing anything?

Are you running bridged or nat setting in VMWare?

Hmm, that is odd if nothing changed, have you tried a good old fashioned reboot of the VM machine, as well as your rig.
