VGA Cable

Thread Starter
I was wondering if it would be better to attach my 360 to my monitor with a VGA cable, or if it is better using RCA through my TV card.

I have my xbox 360 connected to my Samsung Syncmaster 225BW 22" Widescreen monitor and it works pretty good. Sometimes letters look a little smugded tho cuz LCD widescreen monitors use a 16:10 ratio and LCD TVs (what the Xbox 360 is made to use) use 16:9, but its hardly noticeable.

One time I had my wii attached to my computer through the s-video in on my graphics card and it looked like ****.

So unless a TV tuner card looks beter then what I did I would go with direct VGA.

VGA = HD basically, and a higher resolution than your average TV.

I say go with VGA and hook it up to your monitor if you don't mind sitting at your monitor to game vs the couch.

But if you have an uber TV... i would go with a better TV vs a monitor...

The cable you are speaking of can be had on eBay for less than $15 shipped, don't buy that $50 POS microsoft cable.
