With the capacitors right next to the slot and the ram at the end and the SB/NB(dunno which) heatsink. The 8800gts is a massive card and i was wondering if it will fit on this motherboard?

I'm sure it would fit. It doesn't look like any parts are directly in the way of the slot. You can bend the capacitors a little bit if you need some wiggle room, but I don't think you would have to.

Caps will never hit anything in the PCI/PCIe slots... unless the board was designed by morons..... They could have just used wider, flatter caps.

yeah - I would probably install the ram first =o). It looks tight, but not tight enough to where it should not fit.
