I do love me some Google, though.
Just admit it Namrac, you LOVE Microsoft...kinda like this.>>>

Big brands are like the Borg. You'll easily hate them, because you don't understand there complicated ways. You have few options to avoid their offerings. They'll own you and you'll be better off for it regardless of your opinion.

The guys on the lowlands of the high maintanance OS's are living the rough life, while the rest of us existing in ignorance of funding these evil companinies are loving it..

I support small business and think in a development environment it's many fold times more efficient than the huge corporations.. but on certain scales this environment is impossibly hard to run profitable business in and MS do a great job.

With Microsoft it is the same as the old Monty Python sketch of What did the Romans ever do for us.

Microsoft have done so much but people don't realise. Some of their business practices have been a little "aggressive", but Google are doing the same but are loved.

Mac also have bad habbits but people seem to turn away from them and continue to love them unconditionally.

I do private work in my spare time fixing computers, and to be honest, 90% is down to hardware and/or user error. I have told a few of them about Linux giving them all the facts and they all said they would rather pay the money for Windows. It has the support from the industry and is easy to use.

its ok, just because we use linux doesnt mean we should hate M$. I use linux too, and it is in my opinion vastly superior OS to M$ however microsoft is probably the most business friendly os and best for multimedia/gaming. My speakers sound significantly better in windows, my games work better than in WinE; and microsoft is developing DirectX 10 which rapes the pathetic OpenGL; my tv tuner and fm card works better in Win, wlan is easy in linux for my card but more of a hassle (ndiswrapper woes); and .NET shows a lot of promise.

after Vienna, if M$ can pull it off, then we will all be one

i cannot wait for official integration between Java (cross-platform and better but harder for noobs to learn) and .NET (efficient, easy, popular) environments

We've hardly seen much from DX 10 besides a bunch of videos. As of now we're just getting horrid performance and minor graphical quality improvements.

And OpenGL 2.0 (Unreal Engine 3) is looking quite good as well.

I love Microsoft because it isn't Apple. I'm not "hip" or "cutting edge" enough to own an Apple product.
