LED Fan

Thread Starter
Ok well, I'm 16 and with no credit card, so buying online is next to impossible and I was looking at a replacement PSU fan, because mine just shut up and I took out my anger on it so it's finished. My only option is to go to futureshop to get some random Blue LED case fans but my style/theme for my pc is red. Is there a way to go and get the LED's separate and just unsolder the blue ones and put my new red ones in? Should I volt meter my old LED's to get the right LED's?

I'm pretty confused.

You're power supply fan broke?..it just shut up = it stopped working?

If your psu fan stopped working i'd look into a new PSU.

You can solder new LED's on if you are good with soldering, its pretty simple. Check out the LED's that they use now and find something comparable..shouldn't be too hard.

LOL Tigerpro.
Arnt they only like $30???
I think for a safer bet maybe a better psu. Doesnt have to be expensive but a named brand like enermax or something. Afterall its the heart of your PC.

I"m sure you can go to some store and buy a new power supply. Even with your system you should not be running some generic garbage. It's unsafe. go with a brand name. For once brand names are good to buy from. I have no idea what they have in canada but int he U.S we have a best buy and Circute city and they both have powersupplys that you can buy and those stores are for consumers only.

Look for antecs Tt's those are generaly sold in big box stores
