I'm still having some major doubts on whether or not an 8800GTX will be able to max out Crysis. Even an 8800GTX can't get +60 FPS on every single DX10 game all the time.

If you'll notice, those requirements must be for DX9 mode, therefore Windows XP, so 1GB in XP is pretty realistic for MINIMUM.

one question : Does my x1950Pro compare to a 7800GTX or a x1800XL? :/

Your X1950PRO is > than X1800XL PRO, or the X1800XT too, in that matter.

Crysis-Online.com informs me that the release date is publisher hype, not an exact. Crytek people believe it'll be sometime in September though.

like merloke said. they need to start putting real requirements, because most of us know you might have some frame rate issues with that setup

But I'll post that up in the proper section.
I wonder if this 7900gto is worth anything. It works flawless, but a little dated.
are you getting a 8800GTS?

It has a seperate 64-bit version with special features only usable in 64-bit.

As far as I know there are 4 versions that automatically detect on launch:
DX9
DX9, 64-bit
DX10
DX10, 64-bit

DX10, 64-bit will have the most eye-candy and probably the highest requirements. The game is mostly being focused for DX10 and 64-bit Vista.
