All that is being done is cinematography cgi thats being fed down the necks of the truly gullible. I mean is this a video game or is this another one of those blu-ray movies you guys bought your game console for?
First of all, you really despise Sony dont you? I don't get people like you.

Secondly, you saying that GoW is a system seller, followed by saying there are as many copies sold as the PS3 itself is a moot point. Why? Because the 360 was available long before GoW came out - In other words, of all the 360 consoles sold, none of them were bought for GoW.

How long did it take for that game, arguably the best looking one available, to debut after the launch of the 360?

And you call it a "game console". I call it my HTPC.

yes the processor in the ps3 is called the cell broadband engine, or cell for short. I dont see why it couldnt go on multiple dvd's but would prob need some code changing. The reason it would need more dvd's is the game is rumored to use nearly 40gb of space on th blu-ray disc.

2) Why does there have to be a limitation with the XBox 360 DVD?

In regards to question number 2, the XBox 360 drive is dual layer so a single DVD can store over 8GB, not just 4.7GB. Perhaps they don't use dual layer because of decreased read speeds? Even if it weren't dual layer, couldn't the games just come on multiple DVDs?
The name for the PS3 CPU is ''Cell''

Coding for the Cell is very complexed comapred to general processing units such as the CPU the 360 posseses. Coding MGS4 back to a general purpose CPU like 360's could prove to take a long time and could potentially be a performance hit to the game. Cell is more powerfull than the 360 cpu...no thats a fact before people run to the hills and say ''Oh no ENTY is a fanboy''

MGS4 is said to use alot more than 9GB so you may have to use multiple disks for the 360...not good.

How is that not good? Heaven forbid that you have to change disks, because it's not like that ever happens for the PC or on previous consoles. Oh, wait...

Unfortunately, I haven't played MGS since the first one on the original Playstation, and I'm not about to buy a PS2 and a PS3 just to finish the series. The original was a good game, though.

Hmmm so where are your facts that all Gears of War sales were from pre-existing xbox 360 owners? I think you need to link me to your incredible source or maybe share the ganja. I don't despise Sony, I've owned a few Sony products, some of those being a couple PSP's and a PS2. I just find it amazing that people ride the sacks of a developer and a game that there is not one shred of actual game play since 2 + years since its announcement. E3 2007 just had some cruddy ass full motion video cut scenes. AWESOME! thats why they needed so much space! 5+hrs of HD full motion video takes up a crap load of space.

Well it will either be multiple disks or will force it onto HD-DVD which is definately not good for 360 owners if they wish to play the game as they would have to go out and get the add on drive.

actually i believe alot of the space is used up for uncompresesed digital audio. Also I would love my game to have nice full hd cut scenes to go along with the game. And the claim of 5hrs it is just absurd. Its pretty simple its on playstation nothing else. IF you want to play it buy a ps3 if you cant afford or dont want then no mgs4. Its the same for halo and zelda. They only thing i like about sony is that that dont pay for exclusivity. Microsoft paid 50mill to get exclusive rights to the add on content for gtIV
