PSP Light vs PSP comparison - Page 3

they couldnt make the psp much slimmer because it was already very slim, they got it right the first time. what i would like to see, they did...More efficient parts = more battery life, and they also brightened the screen and sped up the umd, all the shortcomings solved, now lets see it get a little more established and then next generation it won't be that hard, (xbox anyone?)

BTW i bought a ds on launch day, a ds lite on launch day and a wii launch day and love them all, but i still respect what sony is doing.

(PS, don't mind the synical writing style, i can't help it when talking about console competition, lol)

I sure hope MS rolls out a good portable next gen or later this gen. we've already got sony and nintendo... where's Microsoft hmmm?

to go on topic the only new feature that would even remotly want to make me buy it is the video out... overall, TBH i'm not impressed w/ either handheld on the market today. I have a DS lite, and it's ok, just OK. It lacks good games IMHO. sure ppl say that SMB and this and that are great but they aren't my style... NSMB just annoys the crap outta me. nither the PSP or the DS have good graphics. I like the DS's controls, it almost has as much freedom and control as a mouse(my perferred gaming controller along w/ a KB) but the overall capabilities of either unit(PSP or DS) seem dissapointing in comparison to their big brothers(consoles). End rant?

You can bank on Sony eventually releasing a much smaller PS3 (considering how large the original is). If they can lose production costs by cutting materials because of manufacturing improvements and they don't release a smaller version they lose potential profit.

I love my PSOne.
