Honestly dude that is HIGH. Knitelife's Q6600 ran at 19C idle on a Thermalright Ultra-120 eXtreme. I wouldn't even exspect 45C LOAD with a GeminII; espeically if born2killu gets 42C load on an Ultra-90.

Only use a thin line of Arctic Silver 5, lap your Heatsink, and make sure to tighten it ALL the way.

i did it right. temps didnt change any. now heres the thing you can touch almost the bottom of the heatsink and its still cool to the touch, you touch the NB and is HOT, im thinking my reports are reporting backwards cpu as nb and mobo as cpu. idle cpu says 46, mb says 31. but like i said you touch them and it seems opposite. also everyboard ive ever had has done this to me . maybe its my os as ive used the same xp pro cd everytime

Obviously he can't compete with 19° with ambients of 28° I've noticed too that the Gemin doesn't seem to idle as well as others but mine keeps the loads pretty low. I overclocked from 1800 to 2475 on my 4300 and the load went up 1°.

yes, it does handle load surprisingly well. I got to about 2.8Ghz at 1.25v, which got me loads of lower 40's max.
