All 11.6 million Xbox 360s are faulty - Page 14

I think the thing that I find the stupidest... everyone is saying OH YAY extended warranty and OH YAY they will reimburse my shipping...

That's like buying a KIA because it has 100,000 mile 10 year warranty...
The fact that it has to be in the shop every 3 months and you have to "put out the cash" (for the shipping... well that anology part doesn't work ).
You get my drift though. lol.

You shouldn't have to put out the money for shipping and wait for reimbursement.
Quality control/MS Design should have not allowed this type of error to be made, especially when talking in the MILLIONS of consoles sold, that's just insane.

I think it's pretty obvious that the members of this forum cannot have a mature discussion about two competing products, but rather have to resort to cheap shots and "pwning" one another to get their (often misguided) point across. When did our membership change to that? You tell me.

I'm rather upset with it, actually. Dig into the archives. See how the post style has changed. And tell me whether you like a comparison of, say, vertex shader numbers or "You got pwned, lmao, that sucks" better.

When you needed more mods to clean up...

<-- hint hint.

jk lol.

I get what you are saying, completely... I hate it when people try to force something on someone, without true substance or fact behind it... just fanboyism... I think there are a few people on here specifically that do that, ahem... er, yeah, so- totally different topic

Anyway... I still think it's rediculous that people are "OK" with getting a badly built system (ie quality control) and then being OK with losing it for god knows how long for repairs, as well as dropping the cash for shipment and having to wait for the reimbursement... That's just bad business. That's why newegg is great, yes... they charge return shipping for RMA... but you ask them to cover it, as long as it's a defective item or whatnot (not that you just don't want it) and they'll email you a prepaid label

I really think that all the 360's are breaking on que once i heard this story i was astonished and today i went to my buddies house and i come into his room and i see him siting at his pc on the phone so i ask who it is and he says XBOX support i look behind me near his TV and i see his xbox packed up and on the screen i see some pics of the "red circles of doom" just examples and he told me later that his xbox broke yesterday.

I don't know what is going on but M$ will surely feel the impact

Really? I had no idea.. That is A-WESOME.

@Chipp I agree with you but I am guilty of doing it sometimes as well.. It's just a modern day flaw.

lol, yeah... as long as the product itself is defective, you can get them to pay for it real easy. Even if you caused it, tell em "it's broke yo!" lol, and they'll send you a label.
[/wicked off topic haha...]
