Why/how does it beat out the Dell? In fact, I think you're giving him bum advice considering he wants to play an Xbox 360 on his screen.

The 226b doesn't have any extra inputs, DVI only.

So, please, elaborate on how it A) Beats out the Dell for his purposes? B) Works better for his purposes?

oh geez i didnt even see the xbox 360 part

me = embarrassed

as far as it being better than a dell, my dad owns a 24" dell lcd, and while i like how much better higher resolutions look, i think the 226bw's color is second to none

I'd take the HannsG for the convinience of already having a DVI-YPbPr cable.

Which is already a pain in the ass because of it's limitations. You're also sacrificing quality for what reason?

Although that might be just me, I wouldn't run any of my next-gen systems through a VGA port. It'd be Component, DVi, or HDMi at all times.

I just wanted to know why the other guy considered the Samsung better than the Dell.
