spend it all now?

i need a little help here. i need help deciding whether or not i should upgrade now or wait. my current situation is this:

current system had for 2 or more years:
-939, athlon 64 3200+
-msi k8n neo4
-ati x700
-420w PSU

now, i just made a deal with a good friend, and i bought from him an asus crosshair+ 1GB value select RAM + legit windows XP for 250 dollars all NIB.
what i was thinking before, was that i would go all out and just build a whole new computer.
well, now thinking about it, with the AMD's new Phenom and AM3, DDR3 (although not that impressive, yet) i should wait for that to be released and then build my system.

what do you guys think?

Nope, upgrade now

DDR3 won't be matured for a wile yet.

And Phenom keeps getting delayed.

Not worth playing the waiting game ATM

what do you think about this.
i buy a cheap 3800+ for 66 dollars, wait for the GTX to go down in price, keep the value select RAM, but buy my case, hard drives and everything else besides mobo, ram, video card, and CPU for later?

Killer deal.. the MB cost that much!
Check out the For Sale section, some good deals on vid cards there!
3800+ nope, get either the Brisbane 3600+ or 4000+ about the same price or a wee bit less and a great OCer and that MB should scream with either of them!
RAM, there was some nice Corsair DDR2 800 for $83 after MIR at the egg

You will need to up your PS for the Crosshair, a good option... $85 after MIR 600w OCZ w ESP which that MB requires for stability.

oh there's a 3600+? doh, i thought the lowest was the 3800. and yeah, i forgot about the powersupply. i was going to get a 750 pc power and cooling for the final build. but definitely i need a cheap one for now, but reliable.
