They have a fatal design flaw, that doesn't mean it crap hardware necessarily, just flawed. Considering ALL units have the potential to up and die I'd be pissed too. A 33% failure rate is garbage, if this were a car or any other product there would most assuredly be a recall. This is M$ though and they want to minimize the losses over this design flaw.

hes right it is just flawed and they said they are gonna fix it with the new revisions. Yeah it sucks for those who own one, but it doesnt take away the fun you will have with the system. I dont own one but had plenty of fun with my friends and my roomates. Its a great system and its to bad microsoft didnt either admit or realize the defect sooner. but they are stepping up and fixign it that i give them credit for.

Seriously, I just got OWNED.

LOL oops...Yeah, I accidently left that "not" there. Probably was planning on writing somthing else and decieded to rephrase what I was saying and missed it.

Yeah, thats what I was getting at. Just because its flawed doesn't mean its crapped hardware. Heck, my PC is flawed in ways but it would never say it was a peice of grabage. Although, I am still quite unsure if the failuter rate is in fact 33%...but it is high enough that people should be able to get their systems fixed for free.

Sorry for the confusion. I edited the not.

EDIT: Like I said though, I have never had a problem with mine and don't plan on having one because it has had no signs of problems for a long while now even while playing games for over six hours at a time. At least now, IF mine breaks, I can just send it in and get it fixed for free hehe.

Off topic: Elyaas, is your name pronounced "Elias"?

On topic: I thought the price cuts for the 360 were coming for the 90nm revisions only. I thought the new revisions were going to be the same price?

Either way, some people have been saying about the PS# and its game quality is true. ITs completely unbeatable. With every system having a hard drive it leaves game makers without any limitations.

Anyone remember that RAM pack you could buy for the N64? That comes to mind

Off topic: If the "i" in the middle is in fact pronounced like "eye", then yes, "Elias" is correct

On topic:If thats true, then that kinda sucks, even though I don't think it should matter with the new heatsinks.

What's untrue? The fact that Sony has stopped producing 60GB PS3'S? Therefore forcing customers to buy the more expensive 80GB model if you want a PS3, it's like Nvidia stopping the production of 8800GTS's just so they can sell more 8800GTX's.

The core is as expensive as the original Xbox before they pulled it off the shelves due to death of the legendary machine.

You try selling the general consumer, n00b that logic and see how far it gets you. The general response would be something like: "Nano..wha? Just gimme the cheaper one. They're crazy pricing something $100 more than the same product, what kinda idiot..." you get my point.
