If you want to use 4 monitors, get a good graphics card and another cheap $30 one. That way you can game on 1 monitor and use the other 3 for everything else. Unless you wanted to game on all 4, which isn't going to happen in this price range.

Edit: I didn't see the x2 in there. What the hell were you thinking if the mobo doesn't support sli?

Can we start fresh, the whole setup besides the e6600 rocks. And there is no reason NOT to OC an e6600.

If you returned everything how much would you have. If it is at least 1 grand you can get a VERY VERY nice rig.

No one needs 4 monitors unless for some work related reason. You are not in movie editing so already really no need.

It also seems to me you don't know much about the actual PC. The motherboard isn't a big bottleneck or the great holy grail of PC's although it does make everything work You won't see a 30-40+ fps hit if you choose a bad mobo.

That would do you good for ram.

http://shop2.outpost.com/product/489...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG
That for one gfx card.

http://shop2.outpost.com/product/516...H:MAIN_RSLT_PG
That for the second. This is better than the first.

He did buy two 7300s. Those and the ram equal 240 dollars.

Thread Starter
i dont want to order my mobo or processor from newegg, for the simple fact that, if something goes wrong, im pretty much f'd.

buying ata store , you can easily return.

i will buy the gfx card from newegg because of the crappy selection stores have in that area.

i want to keep my ram.

i want to keep my mobo.

i want to keep my cpu.

i will return the GFX card and get the 8600 gt

MY NEW FUTURE SYSTEM SPECS:

CPU: intel core 2 duo 1066fsb 2.4 ghz

MOBO: abit IL9 PRO

RAM kingston ddr2 667 1gb x2

GFX: GeForce 8600GT

will the fact that my ram is ddr2 667 other than ddr2 800 greatly affect my game play?

my mobo doesnt really matter unless i am OC'ing (which im not) it was a budget board with what i need (supported 2 gfx cards and ddr2 667, and a 1066 fsb with intel core 2 duo support...)

ALSO!!! i will get the 7300 along with the 8600GT and use the 7300 for dual monitor support and the 8600GT as my gaming card

edit, ok so you bought it all in store, which means it'll be easier to take back. That's what i'm doing pretty soon.

DDR2 800 will make a bigger difference in overclocking than it will in gameplay.
