guitarcrazy44: i can't read everything in this thread, but from what i have seen, you need to listen to these people...

Newegg is always the best. 99.1% of the time
And these suggestions given here rock.

Oh and that WC kit i saw at the first post, sucks.
A budget air cooler will beat that thing.

So I take it that you're just gonna update your system, meaning replace the mobo, gfx, ram, and chip? That will be fine, as you will have the components I was asking about (post 66), but Id still like to get a estimate of your price range minus the e6600 and the 8600gt (include shipping)

Nobody ever thought they were "The" ****. maybe plain old ****...lol.

7600 or 7900GT is good...but 7300 isn't...lol. The 6600 was better.

We're not trying to insult you or anything...we're tryin to help you out.

We're here to help you get the best rig for your money.

Oh, and I used to make 7.45 and bought a computer with it...3500+ a gig of Mushkin redline a 6600GT, and some other stuff....all when it was brand new...

All you gotta do is save a few weeks and work as many hours as you can.

Yeah, my 133MHz Pentium I got back in 1995 killed my old '87 Tandy. Doesn't mean it's a killer rig.

wow stop complaining

the 6200 and 7300 are almost the same.

Lots of people here have ddr RAM

And the 865 chipset by intel is great.

If you going to defend yourself then stop because it just gets people annoyed

i make crappy wage too and all I do is save up and splurge every couple weeks. everything you see in my sig below I bought with my own money I earned by working and im only 15(16 in august ). If you dont have the patience to save and get a rig that can actually play halo2 at med graphics, you sir will have a miserable time trying to game.
