My computer was acting screwy so I tried the new one. i can tell you they at least did something different with the JMicron controller, because it doesn't have a little line that spins around in circles when it's detecting drives, so that must have changed. Otherwise I can't tell any difference in the BIOS, but I haven't looked too closely.

Soo....anyone try it yet?

Maybe they got rid of the strap thing and I won't see performance decrease when I go past 400 FSB...

yeah right.

OK...it looks like the only changes since the big ones from Sept. and Oct. were "1. Add new CPU uCode to support new processors
2. Revise SLP 2.0 rule
3. Enable support for SATA hot plug function under AHCI mode
4. Fix after downgrade CPU ratio, the Conroe L frequency not correct under ASUSCPU and Enhance memory compatibility under FSB1333 mode

Stupid question here but...

I can just flash my BIOS to the 1216 version without putting the older ones on first correct and it gives me all of the "upgrades" of the previous versions as well as latest updates?
