got my CM 830 stacker.. wooohooo!! *PICS*

im still relatively new as far as wire management and hiding, but i did my best. arent you proud of me? lol..

ok, so my very first case is the cooler master mystique.. nice case, good airflow, but it was kinda cramped and people have said its designed for the "older" populace. i still think its pretty awesome, just a bit too small for me i guess..

then a couple days ago, the 830 got to my house and believe it or not, it sat in my room for a couple days, unopened.. hard to believe, but yeah, just way too busy.. here it is. nice 4 fan bracket system on the side.

think the tuniq towers small?

one thing that i noticed is that it doesnt support the ds3 board. theres one screw thats not covered accounted for.

i also noticed the psu looked a bit wild and untamed. since ive no sleeving experience nor material i grabbed some electrical tape and started taping like mad.

before:

after:

not the prettiest, but gets the job done.

so yeah, heres pretty much the end result. not as clean looking as slades, but meh.. hopefully air circulates..

by the way, the usb cables are short. they dont reach!!

uhhmmm, yeah.. what else can i do? any suggestions would be nice.. thanks

edit:

pictures of the finished product...

lol @ tape sleeving.

Get some real sleeving, or just a better PSU that has pre-sleeved cables. That and/or a modular power supply and you'd be amazed how easy cable management can be.

Does the side panel fit on with the Tuniq Tower in there?

Funny this, I ordered this for my build. We have the Tower, DS3 and Stacker 830 in common. >_<

the tuniqs rather large. the side panel does fit, but to put on a fan, youd have to take out the black shroud on the panel.

Will I have to do any mods besides that to mount the fans?

should be good to go. i put the fan right on the cross flow thing that houses the fans and it seemed to close fine.. i didnt mount it on though.

the exhaust fan that comes with it is weak.. the tuniq fan is blowing more air than the exhaust can blow out.. just a heads up on that.

I'll probably move that one to the top as I have another Silverstone FN121 and the Stock Tuniq fan that can go there and in front, as well as 4 Yate Loons on the way later.

As long as I don't have to rescrew any holes in the door to mount the fans, I'll be alright.

I didn't actually know the case came with any fans.
