they mean green is safe, yellow is still safe but its getting a little unsafe, red is unsafe.
example: if you overclock your gfx card the stock numbers will be green, meaning safe, if you overclock it say 75mhz it will become yellow"caution" say you overclock say 150mhz it'll go red, meaning not a good idea,
but take it with a pinch of salt, and half the time in reports wrong data, but its still a good guide line to know what is unsafe bus speed.
