BIOS Deleted HELP! - Page 2

Dude, if you have an old motherboard, boot it up onto a floppy, take out the old BIOS chip (if it's removable), insert your P5B-E's BIOS chip, flash through Winflash on the floppy, take it out and put in the old BIOS chip and throw away/whatever you want to do with the old mobo (it should still work), and try to reboot your P5B-E

tried it, it wont read the flash drive on start up or anything the only thing that flashes is the cd drive lol

I believe you have to put the .bin on and not a .rom file.

Also it needs to be either formatted with FAT32 or FAT (can't remember), and NOT NTFS!

I can only find the .rom version and yes my pen is NTFS ill format it to FAT or FAT32

ok its now FAT32 but i dunno what files to put on ect. and when i start up my pc it still dosent read the flash drive bcz there is usually an led flashing on the flash drive to indicate its doin stuff
