World in Conflict DX10 vs DX9 FPS *SCREENSHOTS*

Heres my comparison.

Both are ran at the same settings:
1920x1200, 4x AA, 16x AF, Max possible settings, SLI enabled, QX6700 at 3.2GHz, Stock Cards.

These are both ran under Vista. This game is the first game that was actually built from the start for DX10. Unlike the patched games we have now. As you can see performance is much better than what we have been seeing. Although the visual difference is very small. I hope the frames do improve a little. This is a beta after all.

EDIT: Added 2 single card (SLI Disabled) scores.

This is "true" DX10?

Yes SLI is enabled. However SLI in DX10 is very immature, and that could be the cause of the frame difference. SLI is still pretty buggy in DX9 vista as well.

I believe the only difference between DX10 and DX9 in this game is cloud shadows, and improved shadows. I don't think the fire has any change, atleast I don't notice any different. Smoke looks better I think, like after cars blow up but the actual fire looks the same atleast to me.

Well I feel a little relieved to see that DX10 with a 8800 isn't a lost cause already...

Added 2 SLI disabled screenshots to first post.

Unplayable on those settings in DX10 with 1 card. (1920x1200 is a big part in that)
