I am getting close to getting a new computer (mine is about to kick it) and I have come up with this one (decided that I didn't want Brisbane)

CPU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16819115016
GPU: http://www.newegg.com/product/Produc...82E16814102102
RAM: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231065
MOBO: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128050
CASE: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16811133154
DVD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827106055
HDD: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16822148140
monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824116066
PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817341002

What do you think? I am not sure on the GPU, I plan to upgrade this fall so I don't need anything crazy. This one comes with Call of Jaurez free heh

CPU: A+
GPU: Not sure how well those perform compared to an Nvidia counterpart, so i can't comment.
RAM: Do you need G.Skill HZ? Do you plan to overclock enough to make use of the HZ? I know i always ask this. I ask because i don't like seeing HZ in a budget build that will only moderately overclock. Seems a waste of money in that case.
Mobo: Very Nice
Case: Ehh... Personal choice. I think it's ugly as hell, and would suggest the Antec 900 as it is cheaper, and has better airflow.
DVD: A+
Hard Drive: Very Nice
Monitor: Booo, get this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824112006 better and cheaper, need i say more?
PSU: A

By the way.. don't get that GPU. Do you really want / need DX10 graphics? If not then get a X1950xt it is incredibly powerful and overall much better than the 2600.

Also if you do want DX10 (Pointless if you plan to upgrade it soon) get a Nvidia card not ATI.. Nvidia dominates DX10 cards at the moment and has much better cards out even though they may be out of your price range.

Apart from that great rig and I hope it all goes well!

yeah, it is. what's your budget? for low end dx10 cards, this is how it goes...8600GT<2600xt<8600GTS

that being said, an 8600GT can easily overclock to 8600gts speeds. if you could get a more expensive card id recommend ATI's 2900xt, but since your on a low budget that card is fine...but, if you dont need dx10, id recommend a 7900GS, or a 7900GT if you can get a good deal on a used one. I'd be willing to sell you mine.

actually, here's a great deal on a 1950xt: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814102067
