PNY Verto 7600GS 512MB DDR 2

Thread Starter
I purchased this video card about a month ago, but I just bought a new game and oddly had issues running a high specs, I decided to OC the card and noviced that stock ram bus is 270mhz!!! I can push it up to 334mhz without a problem, but beyond that my drivers freeze and I loose my display. I'm using the nTune software to do this, I attempted to use Riva tuner but it did nothing from what I can see, maybe because I simply have nTuner installed. If i'm correct the card should be able to reach the Memory Data Rate (effective) speed correct? The box says effective speed is 540Mhz. Anyone able to offer help, is it simply my card?

You have to double your 270Mhz speed. 270 x 2 = 540 .

Is there a way to get the nTune settings to take effect at boot, so I don't have to do it at each boot?

you can use coolbits (google it) to easily overclock and have it when you boot
