They are right about the aluminum it is thin and everything you do distorce it.

Its very lightweight and thats why they use such thin aluminum, I LOVE IT

The drives are perfect and the slots to put them in are amazing, flip the drives backwards and its instant cable management.

When i got mine it had no dents at all, and the case itself runs very silent and doesn't shake or anything. Plenty or room and the Drive hider aluminum piece is a nice accent.

The 900....

The Cable management is HORRIBLE, no place to do ANYTHING in that case in terms of cable management, the window is so tiny, and the overall case is ugly IMO.

The only thing it has going for it is the build quality.
Wow now I know what rose colored glasses make stuff look like.

The Aluminus is crap. I have one and built a rig in it and it was so incrediblyy loud that I took everything out and put it back in the box and it has been in the box now for 6 months.

The front panel is silver plastic and looks it. The front 120 is held in place in such manner as to ensure the fan makes noise--the front fan hole is too small and the bracket is stupid.

The rear fan will make the case drum away with the sound...even a better fan will do the same.

The HDD mount trays are soo flimsy that you need to rebend them each and every time you take them in or out of the bay. It is a good design--poorly executed--ditto the removable mobo tray. The tray removes...but not with the backplane so you have to take everything apart anyway. Not sure what exactly that is supposed to make easier...but it makes for a great sales point: "removable movo tray" lol.

I was going to mod it for LC since it is soooo huge and looks really really nice.

The one feature I really like is the screw-on plate the hides the optical bay--it looks tough. It doesn't really do anything but it looks great.

The case is pretty tall and narrow and since it is so flimsy you have to sort of bend it to make all four feet sit level on the table. And the PSU is wayy up top so the weight is up high making for an easy disaster if ou have clumsy animals or kids...

The 80mm fan on the Side panel is like ***...anyone would immediately notice how annoyingly loud a fan is there..even a low cfm fan. There is a reason good cases use 120mm fans everywhere. Easy enough to mod though...

My case arrived dented too..and it was a sharp dent that could not be erased.

The aluminum is about one grade above beer can aluminum.

It looks great...but feels cheesey. And it is LOUD.

At $20 it's a decent case. At $40 it's overpriced. @ $55 you are getting gouged.

Although it would be ideal for a front 240rad and some other mods I can't see putting any money into such a cheap and poorly executed design.

Just because a case is "all Aluminum" with "removable mobo tray" and "tooless design" does not mean it is Lian Li quality aluminum...far from it.

Sorry if that pops anyone's bubble...but I am pretty finnicky about cases. Just being BRUTALLY honest about this Ultra product.

If you have the money, go with the 900. My friend got one, and it's a really nice case in person. Much better than the aluminus.
"You could dent them with one finger" OMG nice

I agree, I just built my rig yesterday with the aluminus, and I like it alot. Yes, it is very thin and seems fragile, but the cable managem, ent is great in it, and the cooling seems fine (i have the rear 120mm exhaust and front 120mm intake fans)

also, it will fit the tuniq tower no problem, i have plenty of room to spare with my zalman 9700 (i think the aluminus is about half an inch wider than the 900)

I have a 120x38 150 cfm delta on the back 120x25 150 cfm delta on the front and don't get any vibration but it wouldn't take much for that front plastic to get warped and cauuse it to vibrate I guess. Havn't finished it so only time will tell.

Got to agree with the 80mm that's why I changed the plexi and put to slightly quiter 92mm delta's. All delta's are on a resistor for speed control though.

Love my 900. Cable management is a kind of bad un-modded. However I got mine looking pretty clean just being patient and watching what order I hooked everything up. A few zip ties will go a long way with your fan wires. Very sturdy case you can't really go wrong with it.

Cooler Master has a new case that can utilize 7 120mm fans, hold 2 8800 cards, and has cable management kits.
Their signature tool less design makes building so much easier.
Comes out in August and retails for $79!
The 900 is not even close to compare...

900 for sure. Looks nicer IMHO and better made. Along with that, it's a good deal for the price you can get it with rebate and its great for air cooling.
