Updated Bios Problems

Thread Starter
I just updated my Striker extreme MOBO Bios and now it won't let me adjust any of the settings for my fsb and memory bus frequencies. Thus meaning I cannot over clock that way anyone have any idea why? and any idea what I can do?

Reflash to an earlier BIOS? Just like driver updates, not all BIOS versions address your current hardware/OS issues.

Sorry I'm new to this but how would I do that?

Download the 1102 BIOS from the ASUS website.
Copy it to a floppy disk.
Reboot
Hit 'del' to enter BIOS
Go to heading ASUS Ezflash
Follow prompts to reflash from floppy

And I have no idea why you cant change your bios settings apart from the fact this is a BETA bios..
