It has a mic on it and when it hears sound it turns the light on and off. So it pulses with the music, also has the switch just to leave it on.

It's a nice and clean mod. Almost looks like it was always there. It's certainly cleaner than any mod I've ever done (as I'm sure people who followed my fan controller work log would tell you).
