Anyway I have it at 900/900 and under load it's hitting 76c
I already have the voltage at 1.72v, you think I can give it more voltage or is that too much?
Open the case up as much as you can and blow on it really hard and I bet 1 ghz should be possible. Thats one bullet proof card.

I tried to blow on it really hard, but I got dizzy and then I passed out, It didn't seem to help very much.

PS you really shouldn't touch the PCB while the computer is on. humans conduct electricity and you can short something out on your card.
I had a X1950 pro and it ran at 64c load. That is even being overclocked to 660/1450

My 7900GS loaded gets hot you don't even have to touch it to feel the heat coming off of it but the load temp is only 61c on it.It has been running like that for months now without a problem so i wouldn't worry about it.

If you are worried, just put a fan over the backside of the card.

I attached a 80mm fan to the side panel of the case, there just happened to be a spot directly across from the card for a fan, I have it blowing air onto the card, Is that better or should i have it sucking air out of the case?

I think it helps but theres still two memory chips on the card that have large capacitors blocking the air from reaching them.

any ideas how to make the fan speed fun at 100% on an 8600gt?

Ive tried ntune but it wont even load up, and rivatuner has no effects on fan speed when i click on driver level tweaks.

I know my cards fan can go faster because i hear it boot up to 100% while im in bios or post. Im worried because the fan is stil running silent at full load and is reaching 85c
