Just make sure the card you buy does not require more power than your powersupply puts out. You can alway's get a bigger powersupply contrary to what many people say that you cant put any other powersupply in a dell other than a dell cause that's not true either.

Ah, yeah, we are getting a pretty cheap card...ATI x1650 card. Doesn't require any power connectors and it's cheap as well. Anything would be better than that old stock card.

okay....nvm we decided against the ati card...would a 6800XT be good or should i try 7600 card? He doesn't play many games so anything over that would not be needed.
