VGA or Air Flo

Thread Starter
So I bought the Pelican Air Flo for my 360. Partly because it gets really hot in my room, and partly because it has a vga connection. I have a 226bw monitor and when hooked up to my computer, via dvi, it looks great. But when I use the vga cable that came with the monitor and hook it up to my 360 via the air flo vga port, the colors are way off. Everything has a pinkish tint. I have adjusted the colors a bit but it still looks off.
Do you guys think it is just because it is vga connections aren't usually the best, or could the air flo be messing up the quality? My only other option is to buy some microsoft vga cables but I want to hear what you guys think before I go out a blow some more money.
Thanks
Sandy

If it looks fine with a DVI cable but pinkish with a VGA cable, I think it's safe to assume that the VGA cable or the Air Flo is to blame.

You can try adjusting the black level on your 360 in the system blade. Go to the System blade > Console Settings > Display > Black Level. See what looks better over VGA.

When you use DVI are you using the monitor's VGA cable with a DVI adapter or are you using the actual DVI cable instead of the VGA cable?

Regardless, I would spend some time calibrating the monitor a bit more for VGA. If it doesn't get better you can decide whether to use DVI or a Microsoft VGA cable.
