Thanks!

Here are a couple of updated system pics. Just added the MCW30 to my GPU loop and I switched pumps so my stronger vario pump is powering the D-tek with Nozzle CPU loop.

Also had to try some blue G11 pentosin for the GPU/NB loop. I wish it were a bit more UV reactive than it is, but I like the dual colors.

Not much measurable change because the MCP temps on the 680i are only for the southbridge, but I'm sure that NB is running cooler than before and I can tell there is even less heat inside the case. I tried running a temp probe in the case and it's essentially the same as the outside ambient which is good for those leftover air cooled components.

The one NB to GPU bend was pushing the min bend radius, so I made my own coolsleeve out of copper wire I leftover from some home renovations...something different and it does the job





I don't think there is any real benefit to cooling the NB over a good HSF, but I have plenty of reserve radiator and flow rate capacity, so why not

Some more nice testing......You know my dual DDC's are like that...I bleed with one pump only, it seems to bleed faster, and I've done it with the active pump pulling and pushing and the other pump has little effect on the other...I get about 5psi with just one pump in the loop...When I'm bleeding I still get around 4-4.5psi, so the second pump causes very little restriction....

Yeah that suprised me. I figured if one pump died, the second would have a miserable time trying to push through the still one, but suprisingly it didn't affect the one pump flow rate that much. So using two pumps for redundancy will definately provide more than adequate flow rate. The only problem would be knowing when it died. A pressure guage like you have or having pumps with RPM metering and using something like speedfan warn you might be another option.

I made the spring. I just stripped down about a 6' piece of some household type solid core wire, clamped one end to a nice round sharpie marker and wound it by hand around the marker nice and tight. After it was wound, I clipped off the last few inches and then stretched it out just a touch and slipped it over the tubing. The trick is you want something like the marker OD to be just slightly larger than the OD of your tubing.

Worked pretty well I thought and dirt cheap in materials cost too

Yeah a centrifugal pump when it off the water will run right through it...Look how easily it will flow through the pump when you drain your loop...I would of thought that pulling through the off pump or pushing through the off pump might make a difference but with mine it doesn't seem to....
