BFG 6800 OC AGP freezing PC

Thread Starter
When ever I try to install the drivers for the video card it freezes up the computer. I have tried a clean windows installation and still same problem. This card I got from ebay and did not come with a drivers cd so I downloaded the most resent ones from the website. Do you guys thinks the card is damaged or what can the problem be??

The more I think about when I burned up my 6800 was the stock bfg fans just sucked. Big stupid copper thing that holds in heat real well with its steel cover. At least take off that stupid cover. The small dual fans were just pathtic. The 8600gt I have has this real thin copper cooler and it cools really nice and it overclocks like nothing. Do a search and most of those cards are overheating.

thats the design.

It sucks the heat in (with the fan) and that "stuid" cover directs i out to the back
