I'll be aiming first on STOCK w/ AS5 just to see and then move on the the aftermarket cooler if needed... If I can get good temps on stock at 2.7 I'll use the Sythe for my FX62 which is currently on stock.. Sig rig is the actual future of it.

UPDATE: Most of the parts are here, pic's in a sec. Uploading now..

Newegg sent me the 550 SE instead of regular 550 This is not good because I wanted the regular 550's MIR. I will contact newegg about that later. Maybe they can make me happy again.

PICS:

AND IN WE GO!

We packaged and all, great awesome

AS5 and Arti Clean were also packaged in small containers.. AS5 is REALLY REALLY small. I've never used it before but I really thought it was bigger. My index finger is a whole lot bigger.. Ugh.

You know it won't be very good in modern games right?

There is no onboard video so I needed a video card and it can play SOME games at med settings.

It's also the same price as the 8400 which I was about to go for ;P

My air is Intake -> Cooler -> Outake on side of cooler -> Cooler fan taking air from hsf towards psu and psu takes it out..

Damn I hate Socket 775 mounting pins. I had such a hard time mounting the HSF and the AS5 isn't looking as good but whatever. I think one of the mounting pins is even damaged >_>

Any shortcut to mounting.

I tried

1 3
4 2

In that order, I turned the HSf to match the intel lettering and the Socket 775 lettering on the board argh.

I basically got it on and when I pull on it it doesn't flop out like before but it is still a bit lose.

Otherwise the board seems okay, nothing major happened to is. Took it out of Anti static and placed straight into case. I screwed in the bolts just tight but not too tight (I could still screw more in) still tight tho ..

Any hint of advice though otherwise? About to let the CMOS reset for a goood 3-4 hours. Then will plug in and test..

P.S. Any good ways to remove scratches from a black case side...?
