Ive experienced a few errors here and there but nothing serious. It should be expected from time to time with a new OS. If the errors are persistant you may consider looking a little deeper into the errors you are recieving. Be more specific about the problems you are having and the type of errors you are getting. Also state their frequence.
OK, good points you got there. I'm trying to make sure everything is up to date, but just realized there was 2 more updates just now. I will keeps this in mind on my next question about errors.
The 1st install had all kinds of strange errors. While loading the expansion pack for WOW there was an BSOD error. Afterwards, I could not get the X-pac loaded at all. It kept saying it was already loaded. Also, Firefox would not stop jumping up and down while trying to use.
So, I just started all over with the 2nd install. It has been a lot better (got WOW completely loaded). Firefox mainly works fine, just freezes up once a day or so.
It just seems like when I have multiple programs running, is when I get errors or a crash. I do believe it is when 1 program has an error, it stops all programs.
Some of the errors blame the cpu. They mention if it has been OCed, MS recommends to revert it back to stock. I think I'm currently running around 3.0ghz(cpu), memory as stated below.
Well, I'm still enjoying the new eye candy! I needed a change.
I think it is a nice OS and it is the future OS (for gamers at least). It was much easier to install than XP! I had read that it took much longer to install, not for me, 1/3 the time!
Anyways, thank you
