This connection isn't for homes. This is was purely a test to show how easy it was to do. This would be something to use at exchanges, then run fibres from exchanges to the homes with like 100-200Mb line each, possibly more if the exchange is well equipped.

There is said to be $250,000 worth of equipement in the house to terminate the connection and all the fibre transeivers etc.
