sorry that was in reference to the post above refering to the ethernet part of the connection. not the hard drive setup. edited my post to clarify a little bit

other then that the hard drive side I agree with one computer by itself wouldn't work, but as you said multiple computers it very well could.

That is still faster than any normal PC can use, your normal LAN is 100mbit or 1000mbit.
