wow. if it's a reputable company you can try to buy one, wait for the 7950 to arrive, then call them up and complain until they send you an 8800

I'm not feeling lucky, but thought I'd share the link in case somebody wants to roll the dice. I'm still mad at BFG for disabling the thermal sensor on my 6600.

...all 6600s had disabled thermal sensors. Use RivaTuner, that worked for my old 6600GT.

what's the worst that could happen? Consumer Depot issues a call tag for return and refunds your money? i'd buy it myself if i hadn't just bought a new g-card. someone needs to try this!

6600GT had enabled, 6600 had disabled.

I wrote a guide for a BIOS hack to enable the 6600 one though, very simple.

Well found another one... but figuring this one was too good to be true, didn't want to start a new thread.

8800 GTX OC 768MB for $245.88

Has to be a misprint, right?

EDIT: Looks like there are several sites linked to the same warehouse, or polling from the same database:

Shopbit, and PrintSavings

EDIT2: Heh, searched for the product number from the original link (BFGE86256GTSOC2FE) on NewEgg... brought up an 8600GTS. Definitely looks like a misprint now.
