okay thats the deal :
what we got is a pinnacle studio plus 700 USB.
the owner claims that his pc is too slow for that.
ha got an
intel 630
925x based mobo
1gig of ram
160gb single hard drive...
i was going to recomend him an:
windsor 4800X2
2gigs of 800mhz
nforce550 based mobo
2x80gb raid 0 solution + the second 320GB

will he see any difference?
plz dont tell me to go core 2 duo coz i cant , now i finally have my own computer shop in albania and im very enthusiat about it.
i want to bring the maximum to my customer....

Enough power in house for sure.

Only my suggestion is 800Mhz ram is overkill since most amd cpus still only have a 400Mhz bus so unless ocing ddr2-533 is enough.

well in fact i dont agree...i entered e video editing forum and they told me dual core and raid 0 is the key!

But yah dual core is DEFINTLY key in this.

My experience with usb video recorders are that they work best with at least 2 gigs of ram and a dual core. Raid'ed drives are not needed, all they would do is increase read times and mild write times.
