im not getting the half multipliers ether... my guess is that they want to be able to for sure guarantee these chips at there ghz...

If they used whole multipliers, they could only market the chips at 333mhz increments. That means within a 1ghz range, there could only be 3 different models.

Thats like 30-35C Load.

I hope people realize that it's 3.16 GHz AND 12MB of L2. L2 Cache draws power and produces heat too you know .
