The readme that comes with perlmon will say, It's something like perl, perl-gtk and some others. Then you need to use your YDL update program and search for and install them if neccesarry.

Dunno if this has been mentioned here already or anything, but I found that the program called "alien" can convert Reset3x's .deb package into a .rpm to install into RPM distros like Fedora, Mandriva, Suse, etc. I did have to hunt down some dependencies manually, though, but I felt damn good after I got it working all on my own

Downloaded your program and ran it on my ubuntu 7.10 system.

For some reason though it's saying my CPU Speed is 1000.000 when it should be around the 1.9Ghz range. Its an AMD 3600+, Brisbane AM2.

I will also note that it is probably my system's fault.

cat /proc/cpuinfo displays the same number as well.

You using cool-n-quiet? That will downscale your CPU speed.

That could be a very good possibility, I haven't touched the BIOS since I reset it when I installed ubuntu. Going to check that now!

Edit:
That fixed it. Thanks a lot man.

Hey ... Great tool!! Is it possible to determine what instruction sets the PC supports?
