Neither the OP directions or readme work.

The unzipped folder is on my desktop. I can't get my terminal to find, install, or do anything to this package.
Simple really

cd /home/"yourusername"/Desktop

cd /"nameoffolder"

sudo pearlInstaller

to open type "pearlmon" in terminal

Oh I sound sooo smart LOL

Also when I type Sensors I only get a mainboard sensors, which is useless.

Hi all!

I installed PerlMon correctly, but now I have a problem.

I had the folder extracted at my desktop, and I my brother "accidentally" deleted it. But there is a sub folder (blib) that cannot be deleted...

I restarted the PC but nothing changed.
I also typed gksudo nautilus at the terminal, but i cannot find the folder!

What can I do?

if you do gksudo nautilus you'll be brought to root's home directory. Did you change to your home directory?

I find it a bit weird that perlmon and cpu-g both attempt to display the same basic info, but either really aren't good at it. I had perlmon unable to read some basic info about my distro and telling me that I was using 6G of ram when I was only using 1. CPU-G isn't bad but it just needs more development, it lacks lots of features.

After a few restarts, I typed again gksudo nautilus and there were successfully deleted.

Still don't know why that folder couldn't be deleted at first try...

Unfortunately, Dangeroushobo left OCN due to personal reasons.

Hey there... does: sensors

work for you I mean.. does it detect everything for you after running it?

On my setup I only get this:
Code:
sendblink23@sendblink23-Ubuntu:~$ sensors
k10temp-pci-00c3
Adapter: PCI adapter
temp1: +35.5°C
I'm asking you because we both have the same CPU & motherboard.. and I'm using the latest lm-sensors :/

I hate this motherboad to be honest. It flakes out like crazy and I haven't tried to do lm-sensors
