Prime95 failure. Most likely the Motherboard?

Thread Starter
Every time I do a self-test on Prime95 I get this message within a few minutes:
FATAL ERROR: Rounding was 0.5, expected less than 0.4

I don't overclock, and I have made sure all the BIOS settings were set to default. My MoBo received some heat damage about 6 months ago and wasn't expected to last much longer.
The system has been crashing during games frequently (Counter-strike: Source and even Warcraft 3).

Before I buy a replacement Motherboard, does it seem to be the main culprit here?

if there was some known heat damage to the motherboard, then i would say yes. but it could also be your cpu or ram. really no way of telling other than trying different components, or trying your components in someone elses machine.

I've used "CPU Stability Test 6.0" and perfomed the "CPU Warming Only" test, which crashes the computer in a few minutes. Does that exclusively mean the CPU is becoming too hot and is the reason for the crashes? Or can the MoBo partly be responsible?
The heat sink is in properly and the fans are going at around 2500RPM. A heating issue doesn't make sense.

Thanks.
