I would definitely drop to an OEM Brisbane and slap on a better cooler.

Because the 3600+ can be overclocked to be just as good as a 6000+

Why get a 6000+ when I got my 3600+ faster? That's the better question.

I would change a bit.

Save $5 and get the Ballsitxs.
And change PSU to OCZ 700w. - $139.99 - $104.99 after MIR

I believe the rumors about the ripples have been fixed. The rumor is quite a while ago.

But the Corsair is still one of the most hyped PSUs out right now, at the same time. Your points are still valid.
