Ok Heres The Deal This Is My TV

No, that is for splitting one signal so you can output to two differant displays with the same device. You would want a switch.

you can get a component switch

lolz mine 1080p and the only thing besidese movies that play that high rez is NINJA GAIDEN SIGMA (yes i yelled that) thae game rockz

Plenty expensive, compared to the one you were hoping to use. Once you get above $100, I might just start looking at a home theater receiver that does component video switching; assuming you don't have a good receiver already, anyway.

just to warn you, you are gonna be pissed when most of the ps3 games play at 480p. However for the ones that were made for 1080i they will look great. Hopefully sony finaly makes it scale games as well.

It works great and there is no loss of signal because it's powered.

My TV is a 52" Sony from '02.
It does 1080i but doesn't do 720p so the 720p games show in 480p.

wow i have 1080i tv but ninja gaiden only goes up to 720p for me.... and i dont know why. any suggestions?

What !. PS3 games can go to 480i. However if you have a HD screen the can do 720P and 1080I.
