If you are going by clock speed alone, yes 2.13 is slow. However, a 2.13 C2D will be more than enough for what the system will be used for.

You sure that PSU will be enough??
I think I will stick with the $89 ram that I found...seems good enough.
Is there a c2d cpu like as fast as the 6300 but with 4mb l2? Or does that even really matter that much?

Take C2D speed and multiply it by 1.5 to get equivelant AMD 64 speed.

EDIT: So..if a A 64 is at 3.0..then, divide it by 1.5..that equals 2.0 c2d stylwe
