ok...could you explain a little more...? ive never heard of a port on a mobo (though i could be wrong...).
Maybe he means the integrated NIC on the Mobo? nForce that is...

Still that shouldn't affect anything...this is all software related.

Maybe Windows Firewall?

well, nvidia's nic does sometimes come with an integrated firewall, which really screws everything up. is this what you were talking about?

I think thats the one haha I really don't know, I don't know much.. I did all the port forwarding guides and still red... that's the only problem I encountered so far..

I didn't install NAM just the ethernet drivers (heard NAM is buggy)

Have you restarted? Computer THEN router...

Make sure your internal ip is correct in the port forward list. If you did not set it up manually, it could have changed. Otherwise I'm not to sure what it could be. Make sure the windows firewall is off.

A.) Give Yourself A Fixed IP
B.) Turn Off uPNP in Azureus.
C.) PortForward Your Azureus Port Specified To Your Now Fixed IP
D.) PortForward The Basic Torrent Port Range 6881-6889 To Your Fixed IP

Trust me, Torrent is much, MUCH easier with a fixed IP. Do yourself a favor and do that first.

You can setup the range on your router for DHCP. In example in my home LAN I have 3 hard wired ports and 2 wireless (TiVo and Laptop). The rest of the families PC's I run DHCP. My server I run a fixed IP behind the router, say 192.168.1.100. I then setup the router to used DHCP starting at IP 192.168.1.102 so it never uses the 101 octet.

So far so good? Make sure to change your Windows Network settings to give yourself the now excluded IP. Set the IP to the one you've excluded, above it's 192.168.1.100. Subnet: 255.255.255.0 and Gateway is the router IP, typically 192.168.1.1.

OK

So now you have a fixed IP, the rest is easy.

Portforward your specified Azureus port to the fixed IP set on BOTH UDP/IP

As well Portforward the internal bitTorrent range 6881-6889 to the same IP, BOTH protocols.

Turn off uPNP which dynamically specifies Port Forwards and Mappings based on software settings.

If you want, give me your router make/model and I'll build a nice guide here for you and possibly the rest of the community. I know NAT/ROUTER/SECURITY and Torrent well
