Question about stressing my CPU

Thread Starter
Well,

I'm using Windows Vista Ultimate. As you know, it comes with a windows "extra" called Dreamscene. To make a long story short: when I have dreamscene enabled my cpu meter shows that my CPU utilization is around 30%. My CPU temperature is around 41C(Thats because dreamscene is using the CPU!)

Anyway, lets say if I continue using my PC like this for the next year or two..will it damage the CPU((((((because the CPU is being used 24/7)))))),,or will it shorten the CPU's lifespan???????????????????????????

Thanks for your feedback! =)

Shouldn't be a problem, 41 is perfectly safe. I'm completely an Intel guy, so I'm not sure how that compares overall, but 41 is not at all dangerous for 30% usage. That will not decrease the lifespan any significant degree, you will be getting a new CPU due to complete obselecene long before that will cause a problem.

I used dreamscene for about 2 days and then removed it. Didn't seem to be any point, and all the videos I found for it were either too busy looking or too low resolution.

There is no harm to your pc at 41 but advisable to off dreamscane as there is
not much documantation or instruction regarding this situation....
