Thread Starter
i got my 7950GT OC by BFG and i did some benchmarking and it did horrible. a balueable member to this site known as grunion noticed that my CPU-Z in the mainboard section displays my PCI-E width set at 1x when the max is 16x.... and ive been through the biod and i changed peg force 1x to disable and what not and i just dont know what to do to get my video card running at 16x.

Yeah, I had that prob too. It has something to do with my freq.(until further investigation) at 350mhz it's fine 16x, 366mhz = 1x Ftw?

Anyway (reads grunion's link)

that's because Grunion is like a tall glass of iced tea on a hot summer day. Grunion is like a foot massage when you get home from work. Grunion is like a frosty glass of milk to go with your cookies...

dude, you own a P5B Deluxe yourself. you obviously don't make many overclocking mistakes, because you forgot that Asus boards don't have the CMOS reset. they reset automatically

Ah my friend, but for a complete and total reset you must do the Clear CMOS method. Trust me

LOL, i've had to.. but it was a newbie mistake. I disabled USB support, trying to minimalize start-up items, and I couldn't get into windows/do ANYTHING because USBs were disabled. Had to reset CMOS (take out battery and everything)
