unless you really need that much, take half and spend the other 200 bux on a GTX instead of GTS 320.

how much does the raidmax psu cost? I dont know much about raidmax PSUs but may I recommend a Corsair, Silverstone, Hiper, Xclio or OCZ at 500W or above. aside from that, everything looks solid. What do you plan to do with FOUR 500GB Hdds? all Raid-0?

Maybe change the motherboard to the P5NE-sli and use the savings on a much better psu?

Do this:

Thermaltake Armor Series VA8000BWS Black Aluminum / Steel ATX Full Tower Computer Case - Retail

ASUS P5KC

MSI GeForce 8800GTX 768MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16 HDCP

OCZ 700W / A reputable brand with 620W or more.

Intel Core 2 Quad 6600

mushkin eXtreme Performance 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Manufactured with Micron D9 Chips
--Any ram you can find with the D9 chips are good.

4x Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 ST3500630AS 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s
--Isn't neccessary, I would go with 4x250GB SATA 3GB Perp recording. (Or 320GB for an extra $10 per HD

Tuniq Tower 120 P4 & K8 CPU Cooler - Retail

The Q6600 might not be for sale at $266. Vendors who order them by the thousands will get them for $266.

actually you'd be surprised. At the last pricedrop, the E4300 was rated at 140$ and was going down to 114$, on newegg.com it "actually" did go down to 114$ and so did all the other processors that were scheduled.

I suggest that you get a P35 motherboard (GA-P35-DS3R) instrad of the 680i. Grab a Q6600 come the price drop.

You will likely find many e-tailers (large ones - Newegg.com and Zipzoomfly.com) selling the processors at that price point or cheaper.
