JTD92, have you tried a different PSU? Whats the voltage on the 3200+?

When you had it at 2.6 ghz it probably was never stable and you weren't really stressing the cpu at that time to find out it wasn't stable. Then you probably started stressing the cpu and then you found out it wasn't stable at 2.6 ghz.

This obviously indicates a problem. Have you tried loosening your RAM timings? Or perhaps using a bigger (i.e., lower speed) RAM divider?

The last thing I would try is increasing your VCore. Raise VCore only if other solutions fail. But, if raising VCore doesn't buy you more stability, it's likely you've hit your CPU's limit.

Hope this helps! And good luck.

EDIT: sorry txtmstrjoe didn't see you post, kind of asking the same question for JTD

What core is it? My 3200 newcastle seems to hit it's wall at around 2.64 at 2.6 it's not prime stable, (yet) butit runs. right now it's prime stable at 12 hours at 2.55ghz load temps on the core at 60c

is it a 939 or a 754?
have you tried messing with the voltage or the ram timings? how about the HT speed?

My voltage is 1.44 and my ram timing is 2-3-2-5 @ 216 mhz, HT speed is at 4X and its a venice core.

EDIT: Like 2 week ago I can prime95 under 2.6Ghz for 12 Hours and play a lot of a games for 5 hours. It can not be my PSU because its an Antec with 2 rail of 17A which is plenty for my rig.
Those timings seem a little tight. Try something like 3-3-3-8 for now and see what happens. Also try changing your HT speed to 3x instead of keeping it at 4x. I don't know how far your kingston HyperX can clock too but mine has a wall at 220mhz . So maybe your ram speed is too high...could try giving your mem some more voltage too.

Good luck

yeah, try the 3-3-3-8 timings or maybe 2-3-3-7 (my ram hates it when you touch the cas latenency which is why i must keep it at 2.5-3-3-X) try upping the voltage a bit and see if that helps. I know the 754's like a high HT bus, so it might be ok to leave it like that but to be safe, drop it(at 2.55ghz mine was prime stable for 14 hours with a bus of 928mhz and my venice was stable at 2.4ghz at a buss of 960 for 14 hours as well) i think your ram timings are what's killing it right now though.
on a side note, mine runs at 2.6ghz 2.5-3-3-7 1T running at 186mhz with the ht at 3x. fails prime in 6 minutes, but i played halflife2 for 3 hours with no problems, and i played halo online for 3 hours as well, no crashing. So i'm happy with it as long as it's good for gaming

If you have any questions just let me know ^^ I may not know much myself, but I'll help out any way I can. Right now your problem is like one that i'm having. I could boot my system up at 2.64ghz but now i can't get it to. I think heat is the issue for me. Your problem is probably just some funky ram timings
