Thread Starter
iam planning on buying a laptop, right now i have 3 choices.
Laptop 1. HP Pavilion (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...on=&langid=EN#)

Laptop 2. ASUS F3SC (http://www.ncix.com/products/index.p...S&promoid=1020)

Laptop 3. Apple MacBook (http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...089201&catid=#)

which one should i buy ?
iam intend to use the lappy for school works and watching movies, and video editing as well.
Also would to be able to play video games too.

That MacBook isn't going to be able to run games with onboard

As for the others, I would trust ASUS more than HP - personally I have had some hardware problems with HP, but that is just my opinion.

I would get more RAM with the ASUS, you want 2 GB but the ASUS has a better processor. The HP has a sloooow HDD which stinks for games.

Also, get a better card than the 8400, that thing won't run newer games for $#!+ ... Remember in nVidia lingo, anything below x600 (6600, 7600, 8600) is considered a budget low-end gaming card. This thing will likely not even outperform a 6600 graphically.

I have to say that that ASUS ad makes me a bit weary as well - it doesn't list specs almost at all! What speed is the HDD? How fast is the burner? etc?

Apple MacBook: MacBook is still one of the most affordable and best-looking laptops in the market. & you can play WoW with its graphic chipset.

It's better than the 8400M GS.

BTW, avoid the first HP listed. It has a 4200RPM HDD.
