overclock e6320 on p6n sli-fi

Thread Starter
I'm at 2.8GHZ which is my wanted speed, but It's not stable.
I've increased my vcore by 0.5 and my NB is at 1.35.
Orthos runs for 1-2 minutes.
I think I'm going to need to increase my NB voltage, but the only next option is 1.4 which is a big gap. Would that be safe?

yep, it should be. I ran my mobo's ch ipset to 1.52v, the chipset was super hot so i put asmall fan right in front of it standing on the video card. do that to put it at ease a bit.

Also, try increasing your cpu voltage to 1.3v or 1.35v first. you never know. Mine can do 2.8GHZ at 1.28v but then again, they're all different.

Thanks.. but the CPU voltage seems a little too much. I'll put some AC5 under the heatsink

eek.. i'm running 2.975GHz at 1.28v wonder why everyone else is running such a high voltage to just get 2.8GHz?
